It's Showtime! Mudra, Sisterakas at Shunanak

DAY 1

Our group decided to brainstorm ideas about our presentation. We definitely had a hard time choosing what we think is fun and exciting to do and also because we need to insert our chosen topic to our presentation. Stressful? Kinda. (hahaha) After a short while we finally came up with a concept. It was a Sine mo ‘to type of presentation and incorporated our chosen topic which is elasticity with Ina Kapatid Anak (a famous teleserye in ABS-CBN) that we later on changed to Mudra, Sisterakas at Shunanak. We also named the people who are part of the cast for the said presentation.

 Though we haven’t had a script that day, we decided to teach Mugen and Albert to dance the choreography of Billy and Vhong in Showtime instead. We also added a famous dance of Psy which was Gentleman to the choreography. (to make it more entertaining!)

DAY 2

Similar to day one we practiced Mugen and Albert’s dance because they were feeling kinda awkward then. Tasking was also done for the props, Jeanne and Vanna were the ones tasked to create the huge book for the Tagapagsalaysay. Hahaha! We also had our script, though it was not yet complete but nonetheless we started delivering our lines according to what we have seen on the television. We were somehow struggling to deliver the lines with emotions and actions. (A++ for effort though!!) Hahaha! *wink*

The flow of the presentation:

1.      Mugen and Albert - Opening Dance

2.      Celyn and Margaux – Patigasan scene

3.      Board Meeting (this is where we will insert our chosen topic which is      Elasticity)

4.      Deliberation (Discussion among the board members except for the Shunanaks)

5.      Celyn and Liam talking

6.      Margaux and Celyn fighting once again over Liam

7.      Board Meeting (the board calls for Celyn and Margaux to announce their decision - to whom the new position and the approved business proposal goes to)

8.      *The End*

DAY 3

On the third day we still haven’t had our script completely done yet. (kinda panicking because the presentation day is just a few days away hahaha) We didn’t start immediately because Margaux was missing in action. (she wasn’t feeling well that day) While we were waiting for Kessia to arrive we decided to play a game to awaken ourselves and to also build a stronger bond with one another. CHAR! Hahaha! We played this game called ‘The Concentration Game’ It was super fun because every time a person does a wrong move or mentions the wrong name he/she must sing or dance. (Explaining how the game is actually played is hard hahahahahaha please bare with me lol) When Kessia finally arrived, we practiced delivering our lines and memorizing them to prepare ourselves for the upcoming performance. Teehee :>

DAY 4

On the fourth day, the script is once and for all complete! Hahaha We did a run-through of the whole presentation including the board meeting. It was so fun because there were some intense lines that were included in the script. Here are some examples..

Margaux: Just shut up and listen to me and don’t you dare cut me off!!

Celyn: Ano ba ang tingin mo sa Memorata? Bulate? May pa-early bird promo? The early bird catches the worm?

These lines were depicted from No Other Woman and A Secret Affair. Hahaha! This is what we’re talking about! This is means WAR! Hahaha. >:D

Day 5

Oooooohhh noooo! This is it! The fifth day - the day before the said presentation. Everyone seems so stressed and tensed to what might happen tomorrow. Hahaha! Margaux, Celyn, and the board members haven’t memorized the lines fully because everyone seemed to be busy with other subject matters. Our goal for fifth day was to practice the whole presentation and that nobody will go home ‘til we perform our play perfectly. Everyone seemed to get used to how and what we should do during the actual presentation day. Hehehe (Hashtag medyo confident? Hahaha joke) Plus, there were some discussions about the PowerPoint presentation that would be flashed on the board on the next day while the meeting and the deliberation is going on. It was to emphasize the message of the whole presentation that we will try to deliver to our teacher Mr. James and to the entire class. Hehehe :)

DAY 6 - May 18, 2013 Presentation Day

Dun dun dun duuuuun!! This is it!! This is really is it is it!! Hahahaha! Morning of day six we made name plates for the board meeting. And in the afternoon around 1 pm we started doing our hair and make-up and started dressing up for the play. Everyone seemed to be very very very very nervous and excited at the same time, most especially to the people who will be performing. For the last time, we had a run-through of the play. Awww :/

We were the second group to perform. Lalalaliiiggghhhtsss.. Cameraaaa.. Actioooon!! :D
